Indonesian Dessert (Martabak Telur)


This is one of Indonesian dessert called martabak telur. Basically martabak telur is an fried egg mixture in a wrapped filo. its really easy to make and turn out DELICIOUS!.

Ingredients :
Filo (or lumpia skin)
500gr  minced beef
4 spring onions
1/2 onion
6 garlic
5 thai or indonesian shallot (or 3 if you use british shallot)
2tsp curry powder
5 eggs
1/2tsp cumin powder
pepper and salt


 Martabak Sauce :
 3tsb sweet soy sauce
1tsb vinegar
salt and sugar
1tsb chilli powder or chilli padi
cucumber
water.

How to make :
1. sauteed the onions, garlic and shallot
2. mixed the minced beef, curry powder, cumin, salt and sugar into the sauteed onions.
3. beat the eggs with spring onion and pour into the beef mixture.
4. take 1 tsb of beef mixture and fill the filo with the mixture. Fold it together.
5. deep fry the fold filo until it turns yellow.
6. to make the sauce. mix all the ingredients and cook it with lower heat.
